Boarding

Reservations: To guarantee space, reservations should be made in advance, especially on holidays and during the summer months.  Please drop your pet off before 5:30 pm, to allow adequate time to fill out important paperwork, as well as allow us to get your pet “settled” in for their stay.

• Rates and Types of Accommodations: You have the options of your pet staying in one of our Suites (Indoor Run) or Deluxe Suites (Indoor/Outdoor Run).  Cats have their own facilities away from the dogs. Rates are based upon the type of accommodation selected and charged on a nightly basis. Pets who share a Suite, Deluxe Suite, or Cat Condo receive a reduced rate per night.

Canine Suites – These suites are strictly indoor and measure approximately 4’ x 5”. The rate is $22.05 per night.  If you have more than one pet staying in the same suite, the rate is $17.85 per night per dog with a maximum of three dogs per suite. (Rates are subject to change)

Canine Deluxe Suites - These suites have one area inside measuring approximately 4’x7” and one area outside measuring approximately 4’x7”.  There is a door located between the two suites that is raised to allow your pet the freedom to be inside or outside whenever they wish.  The door is raised when the weather is pretty outside, and the temperature is above 50 degrees.  The door is closed when we leave for the night.  The rate is $24.15 per night.  If you have more than one pet staying in the same Deluxe Suite, the rate is $19.95 per night per pet with a maximum of three dogs per Deluxe Suite.  (Rates are subject to change).

Cat Condos – These are strictly for cats.  Depending on how many cats are staying with us at one time, your pet may be able to roam through more than one condo at a time, at no extra expense. The rate is $13.15 per night.  If more than one cat is staying in the same condo, the rate is $10.50 per night per cat.  If you have 2 cats, you may reserve 2 condos side by side so they may interact through a connecting window that allows them to pass from one condo to another.  (Rates are subject to change).

• Hours: Pets can be checked in or out Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 7:30am-11:30am. There will be several questions about your pet’s stay with us that will need to be answered, please allow yourself time for paperwork when you come to drop your pet off with us. There is no check in or check out of boarders on holidays, the last Saturday of each month, or Sundays. Holidays are Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

• Annual Vaccinations: It is understood that all pets boarding will be current on vaccinations.  In the case where these are not current, we can vaccinate your pet(s) while they are staying with us, at your expense. (Dogs- Rabies, DHLPP, & Bordetella )  (Cats- Rabies & FVRCP)

• Fleas & Ticks: In order to maintain a “flea-free” facility, we give each pet an oral flea tablet upon arrival.  For pets up to 25.9 pounds, the cost is $5.93, and for a pet over 26 pounds and over, the cost is $6.54.  If we find a tick on your pet(s), we will apply Frontline, at your expense.  We strive to provide the best care and comfort possible for your pet.  (Rates are subject to change).

• Food: We provide Science Diet Sensitive Stomach as our boarding diet. If your pet needs to be fed a different diet please supply this at the time of check-in. We will feed your pet according to your normal feeding schedule.  If your pet has difficulty when switching diets or an easily upset stomach we recommend you bring your pet's normal diet for their stay. If you supply treats, they will be offered during exercise or at the times you specify.

• Toys/Bedding: You are welcome to bring toys, blankets, beds, or anything else that you think will make your pet feel more at home. Please label all personal items, limit the number of blankets/bedding to 1, and do not bring anything that cannot be washed in HOT water.   We will do our best to keep track of all items brought, but we cannot be responsible for the loss of any item or the destruction of a toy or bedding by your pet.

• Collars/Leashes/Cages: All collars, leashes, and kennels are returned to you at time of check in.

• Medication: All medications must be clearly labeled and marked with your pet’s name. A dispensing fee of $5.00 will be charged per day for any medication administered while your pet is boarding. (Fee is subject to change).

• Baths: If you would like your pet bathed while boarding, please make this appointment when you call to make your boarding reservation(s). We typically bathe pets on the departure date.  Pick-up after time will be after 12pm to ensure your pet is dry. Bathing services consist of shampoo, conditioning treatment, blow drying, anal gland expression, nail trim, ear cleaning, cologne, and bow or bandana.   Bathing charges are as follows:  (Rates are subject to change).

Canine- 1-10 lbs = $24.15   51-75   lbs = $35.45
    11-25 lbs = $27.85   76-100 lbs = $40.45
    26-50 lbs = $30.50  100 lbs & up = $44.10

• Grooming: Our grooming service is provided by Lee Dubbs. She has been grooming dogs and cats for 30 years. In the past, Lee has owned her own grooming salon and has also shown and bred standard poodles. Poodles and hand scissoring techniques are her specialty. Lee has an excellent grooming reputation and provides outstanding service. Please note that due to demand, grooming is performed by appointment only.  If you would like for your pet to be groomed while boarding, the appointment should be made as far in advance as possible, in order to ensure availability.  We generally groom your pet on the departure date but if there is no appointment available on this date, an appointment on another date might be scheduled. Since the charge for this service depends on the breed of your pet, please call for prices.  Grooming services consist of shampoo, conditioning treatment, hand blow drying, anal gland expression, nail trim, ear cleaning, haircut and styling, cologne application, and bow or bandana.

• Illness: If your pet should become ill while boarding, we will attempt to contact you, but in an instance where we can't get in touch with you, then we will treat at the Veterinarian’s discretion and your expense. A case of stress diarrhea will not prompt a call to you but will be addressed and treated. Please remember that boarding can be stressful for your pet, just as traveling and staying in a hotel may be for you.

Our Facility

• We take the utmost pride in the cleanliness of our facility.  All kennels are cleaned each morning and as needed during the day.  We use commercial strength disinfectants that are safe for your pet and quality flea and tick products throughout our facility.

• We will furnish your pet with bedding if you forgot to bring yours at no additional charge. Bedding is changed daily.

• We walk and play with your pets on a frequent basis, at least three times daily.  We have a grassy, fenced back yard where they are able to exercise. They are talked to and played with throughout their stay.

• We use close-circuit security cameras throughout the property and provide security and fire monitoring 24 hours a day for safety.
